Sounds like he was not aware of what his client was going to say. He should have called for an immediate adjournment, and stuck his client in large bag.

You notice how the ABCBSNBCNNYTimes consortium never talks about Billie Clinton’s rapes but do about Cosby’s ..... I would sense a bit a racism if he, Clinton, wasn’t the “First Black” president.

the victim was passed out in a pool of vomit and McNeal was having sex with her.
I couldn’t have sex with a willing and coherent woman who is laying in a pool of vomit, let alone an unconscious one!

Sounds like he was not aware of what his client was going to say. He should have called for an immediate adjournment, and stuck his client in large bag.Sounds like he was aware, which is why he didn't want to call his client. But, unlike most tactical decisions in a trial (which are the lawyer's call), a criminal defendant can insist on taking the stand over his lawyer's objection.

“victim was passed out in a pool of vomit”
I guess to some people that’s “floor play”.

It’s ultimately the client’s call. You can advise them not to, but if they want to tell their story, you have to let them. Using the father does, however, suggest a certain lack of preparation.

Cosby’s rapes are far more numerous and are current news, even breaking news.

Yeah, that's what I look for in a woman - passed out in a pool of vomit. Gets me hot every time. That's what went through my mind when I read that sentence - Man, what a turn on!
