My Family Doctor heard a heart Murmur when he was checking me few days ago. He has suggested I see my Heart Doctor - which I will do next Tuesday.
I have no other symptoms - such as Fainting, dizziness, shortness of breath, etc. I will celebrate my 80th. BD this Saturday!

The cardio detected what he called a "soft murmur", so in an abundance of caution -- coupled with the fact that we have a great Medicare Supplemental (Plan F) -- he ordered up an ultrasound and stress echo......all confirmed "soft murmur"...something most of us end up having - it's pretty much a "no worries" situation........we all end up with slight valve leakage as we age.

Certainly worth getting checked out, but rest assured heart murmmers are not at all uncommon and often not a problem at all. Prayers up just in case!

I have had a heart murmur for 5 years. Got it late in life. Doesnt slow me down one bit. Don’t even notice it in fact. They are common. Prayers for you and your peace of mind too.
My Birthday plans are to celebrate with my Darling Wife. Saturday we will celebrate at the Ice House Century old bar in New Castle, Indiana - a very basic-friendly place. Next week we will do some Fine Dining at Carnegy’s in Greenfield, Indiana.
