Built Chevy Tough.
I’m amazed he’s kept it 38 years. No need to upgrade.
That’ll rub out. Most odometers back then into the 1960s would roll around to zero after 100,000 miles. No way of telling how many times it went over 100 grand.
Before someone else says it, “it’ll buff out”.
Now that’s a fine looking vehicle. It has the patina of quality. Unfortunately, unless he fixed the body, it probably wouldn’t pass the vehicle inspection here in VA. Although it could be a farm or fishing truck.

Woofda!......Wifey comes from Uffdaville, and we started going up there in the early 1980's - back then ALL the cars/trucks had those dangly plug-in thingies dangling out of the grills. Now, not so much......but being as we've bought our "plot" in the New Munich churhyard, we're pretty certain that for at least one of us there will be some permafrost-busting needed....
