Enjoyed the Christmas special. An upbeat ending after last years’ gut-wrencher. Curious as to where they go from here.
Nice to see Michael Troughton make an appearance. Apparently Moffat and Capaldi were texting each other about him on set.
“Have you asked him about his Dad?”
“Yeah! He was on set for Evil of the Daleks and The Web of Fear!”
I’m extremely old-school when it comes to Doctor Who, and Michael’s father, Patrick Troughton, (the 2nd Doctor) is by far my favourite incarnation of the Time Lord. I’m liking Capaldi too.
