I have two homes. One in Maryland and one in Florida......what a difference in price for most things. My 2700 square foot home in Arnold Maryland is around 7500 dollars where my 1809 square foot home in Florida is 2700 dollars (and would be down to around 1500 if I would homestead). It is crazy the difference in costs.

Left out of this conversation are energy costs paid by one user to reduce the energy cost and subsidize poverty level users.
Apparently rates set by some public Utility commissions now have rate structures with the intent of redistributing wealth

Was up in Quebec at a friend’s house. Heating, cooling, air cleaner and recirculater, hot water and appliances and lights on a 1200 sq ft apt was about 100 per month Canadian. Less than my light and appliance bill.
