The City Council of Kennesaw, a community of 30,000 residents 30 miles northwest of Atlanta, voted unanimously to allow the prayer center, city clerk Pam Davis said.
On Dec. 1, the council voted 4-1 to deny an application for the mosque, saying that zoning regulations did not allow a place of worship in that particular shopping center.
An attorney for Muslim residents of Kennesaw called that decision an attack on his clients' rights to freedom of religion under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and said he had recommended they file a lawsuit.
I think it was a wise decision, Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Washington, said of Mondays vote to approve the mosque.

There is an Islam “outreach” center in a nearby town. It has cameras at every possible angle around it. You can’t get within a half city block of it without being caught on camera.
Now I’m hungry. LOL!

A mosque was also approved in Lilburn, GA and other small towns even though traffic, noise and zoning should have pre-empted them. The doj was filing lawsuits that small towns simply cannot afford to fight. The “money trail” is actually OUR tax dollars that the doj has decided to use against the taxpayers. BTW, Stone Mountain is about an hour away from Kennesaw.
Is it real Islam or NOI?
