In spite of everything, she still has the best chance at the 2016 nomination, and the Stupid Party may nominate a loser, so it's still a possibility that we will have to endure her as President.

But why worry? Franklin Pierce was reputedly an alcoholic and he was one of the great Democrat Presidents of the US.

What will be very important is who becomes her running mate, if she is nominated, since that person could potentially become President. Even FDR was forced to drop his incumbent VP in 1944 because the party insiders knew he wasn't likely to serve out another term. Will the Democrat leadership let Hillary placate the base with someone who is even further to the left and even less qualified than herself or the current incumbent?
