The British think Boston is full of “fake Irish people,” according to British staff of Buzzfeed. The website asked its employees in the UK for their stereotypes of every state in the U.S. and created a map of the results.

I chuckled at "Basically Canada" and "White Walkers".

Frankly, they did a pretty good job overall. Certainly much better than we would do on a map of England.

Ask any irish american about St. Patrick. You will get blank stares and stories about snakes and green beer.

The real and true story of St. Patrick is AMAZING!

Here is a hint. St. Patrick was not Irish but was enslaved by them. Except he didn’t want reparations or riots...

Having lived in Boston for many years, I can vouch for that. It seemed everybody claimed to have an Irish heritage - especially around St. Patrick's Day.

Now I live in southern CT and yes, I have to admit there's not a lot of "diversity" around here when you get to the nicer towns like Greenwich, New Canaan, Ridgefield, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with that. People of all colors are welcome. You just have to have the money. Which means you need to have a really good job (or inheritance).

The rest of the map hits home most of the time. Those British seem to have America's number!
