Proponents of the lesser of two evils, strike again!

Posted on 11/22/2014 6:40:53 PM PST by nomad

In the run up to the recent election, people who refused to vote for the lesser of two evils were attacked by the pro-rino crowd here. Well now that your precious GOPe has won and started their back stabbing, obozo`s amnesty comes to mind, what do you retardicans have to say?

And for the record I don’t remember reading a lot of folks here on FR asking people to vote for the lesser of two evils in any of the races.

There were a metric butt-load of them. And those telling conservatives that they were responsible for Reid if they didn't vote for the GOP candidates.

I know. I caught a lot of that because I only vote for conservatives, and will never vote for a liberal D or R.

Oh, replace urine with RINOs.

I think it'd be more profitable to do it the other way `round.

It's not a matter of evil. It's a matter of liberal.

Reid couldn't have moved forward the liberal agenda without the help of liberal republicans providing critical cloture votes.

Dewhurst was a liberal Republican here in Texas, and the favorite of the GOP. I and a bunch of others got him fired, and he's neither the Senator from Texas, or the Governor.

I won't vote for a liberal either democrat or republican. I'm a conservative.

Where in the pre-progressive era did the Constitution say we should have ALL this Federal Government? Government which your party apparently agrees with. For starters, what about enforcing the Ninth and Tenth Amendments to that Constitution? That`d destroy half to three quarters of the federal monster there alone. Or do you not believe in and support that document?

When you throw your vote away on a third party candidate, you have allowed evil to triumph.

If you vote for a liberal republican, you are throwing your vote away. Liberal republicans have won as many recent presidential elections as third parties have.

None.

Don't vote for a liberal republican because you are voting for a liberal, and if you vote for a liberal, you ARE a liberal.

That would be nice.

My Congressman....the Republican I have now voted for twice....does that very nicely. He has but one vote; he needs that of your congressman and at least 217 others to git 'er done.

By the way, you did vote to ensure at least a Republican, if not a strict Constitutionalist, represents your district, didn't you? Or was he too evil?

Oh and we did have a conservative Republican candidate to extend the new Republican majority in the Senate. The citizens who disagree with us chose to elect the Democrat instead. I sincerely hope no one thought Terri Lynn Land was "the lesser of two evils" and sat on their precious vote, allowing her defeat.

How do you feel about following the Constitution? Imagine if your party actually wanted to enforced the Constitution, even just it`s Ninth and Tenth Amendments?

Scandalous! Those founders and their meddling Constitution!

Good for you.

Of course, being from Michigan, I couldn’t vote for or against anyone in Texas.

Both my senators are dems. Tried to change that this month, but my one vote was overridden at least once.

Thats what the PRIMARIES are for. We fight like hell there.
Sitting home on election day and watching a rat get elected is not a winning strategy.

I both believe and support.

See my other response about how that translates into my vote.

Thats what the PRIMARIES are for.

You don't get to make those rules for me.

I'll fight liberal republicans in the primary and in the general election. I did NOT vote for John Cornyn this time around because he's a liberal that helped Reid move his agenda forward with his critical cloture votes.

This is a joke thread, right?

As far as I know the ink hasn’t dried on the EO and the GOP hasn’t had time to caucus, much less determine whether the terms of the EO are lawful or not.

No one wants an EO to run and end run around Congress, but adults have to agree to a proper response.

Find me an immigration EO number. There is NO EO listed at the White House tonight.

I’m saying there is more than one dimension to the issue. Those who are catcalling might try Lord-calling.

And what if the moon really was made of green cheese. Truth is that the Constitution has not been protected by either party for a very long time. It is up to us to fire up the elected

My condolences on your loss of defeated Democrat David Alameel (sp?) who no doubt would have voted opposite of Cornyn in every way and would have told Reid to stuff his clotures into a dark and dismal place.
