One of my favourite Twitter parody accounts is @TheTweetOfGod .
It's cheeky, irreverent, has over 1.6 million followers - and an unnerving ability to hit the proverbial nail on the head. Last night, it addressed the mounting Bill Cosby scandal with this tweet:

Ain’t that the truth?
The total number of women who have claimed Cosby drugged and raped them is now 15. (The actress Janice Dickinson being the latest, yesterday.)

Cosby was one of the two lead actors in an extremely popular television series that ran from 1965-68. Considering that plus his very successful comedy career at the time, he might have been better known then than he is now.
I think you aren’t good at evaluating information.
And regarding Cosby’s reputation, these stories have always been part of it to insiders.
My anecdotal agreement bows to your professional experience.
The odds that all these women are lying are very very low. I would add it will be pretty easy to verify if somehow these women have all conspired together. That part of the investigation wouldn't take very long to rule out.
As far as all the women never saying anything, well we know that's not true. Some have made the claims for years. What has happened is like so many other serial sex offender cases is that this one has finally got traction and other vitims that would would have remained silent are now feeling comfortable enough to speak out.
We have seen this play out in countless cases like this. Think about all the cases where priests got away with molesting dozens of people until someone finally outs them, then out come all the victims. Think about Sandusky and many other cases like his.
The Cosby scandal fits the pattern perfectly. Also of note is that even though much time has past since most of these alleged crimes in most of these cases where someone is a serial offender they end up getting nailed one way or another. In my opinion Cosby is in very serious trouble. Not all states have statutes of limitations on Rape and some can be denied if DNA is present. It's very likely somewhere a prosecutor is going to step up and bring charges.

When well-represented, defendants rarely pay out for baseless claims above a minimal nuisance value. If a plaintiff goes to trial with a baseless claim, they usually lose and then get stuck with costs. The incentives are very much against baseless claims.
“It’s not the veracity of the claims, but the seriousness of the charges.”
It’s not justice, or even logical, but it is how they are running our “justice” system these days. At least, it sure as hell seems like it...
when the 15 she’s remain silent for 20-40 years, they kind of weaken their cases Had they all gone to the authorities when they said the incidents happened, Cosby would have long since been gone.
Evidence shmevidence. That is so last year.
Assume a female is raped.
Can it not be said that if she values herself so little that she can’t be bothered to file a criminal report - why should anyone else be concerned?
Have you read the testimony? You couldn’t convict anybody based on those statements.
The basic story is:
1) I was with Bill Cosby in his hotel room.
2) I had a drink
3) I asked for and got a pill from Bill Cosby.
4) I woke up the next morning.
5) I don’t remember anything that happened from that night to the morning.
Get a rape kit.
Get a drug test.
Then we can talk.
But evidence? Not really.
All most of these witnesses have done is damage their own reputations and credibility.
And the thing that really irks me is that the DA can never be bothered with the daily perjury taking place, especially in family court. It goes completely unpunished. Amazing.

15? Why is anyone on this forum standing up for him? Three credible witnesses are enough for me.
Apparently he was such a bad ‘rapist’, some of these women had to come back and let him try again a few more times...
Geez.
You think a man raped you...
Then you go back to his hotel room a few months later...
Alone.
You drink booze with him...
You ASK him for pills... ASK him... Not he slips them in on you. You ASK him for pills.

I realize that Cosby is a liberal, but he spoke up against the black urban “culture” and got raked over the coals at that time. How dare he leave the lockstep plantation. But it is the way the hard left works. Any deviation from the party line must be punished. “I disagree with you on one little thing, therefore, I must hate you, I must destroy you, I must kill you.” There is no forgiveness or rehabilitation from deviating from the party line. The hard left holds grudges, and will not let go of grudges. They have a record of parading out old accusations, even fabricating accusations allegedly from decades ago, even against their own. It is the same modus operandii as Stalin and Mao. So the left will eat their own. Some wake up and abandon the left, such as David Horowitz. Others get caught up in what becomes a circular firing squad.
