I don’t see that (i.e., a farewell tour) happening at all. If anything, he’s going to go full-on dictator, issue wide sweeping executive orders, and bypass the congress at every opportunity. We’re rapidly heading for a serious constitutional crisis IMO. This is going to get real ugly and fast.

You’re exactly right. If Pubbies win, they have the power to cut the money. But will they? I predict there will be lots of meaningless bluster about it but in the end Republicans will cave as they always do. Its a predictable as the sun rising tomorrow morning.
