I thought part of the charm of eating a McRib was the mystery meat element. :0

I’m guessing pork, since the U.S. pork industry is always thrilled when it’s reintroduced on the McDonald’s menu.

Real food is not served there...people know it - it’s their choice to consume it...it’s all about price - process - and delivery to the masses...per there billions served logo...
I remember road side joints that actually cooked real - local meat - and did so inexpensively...those hamburgers today taste NOTHING like the ones I grew up on...that’s a shame...
I’m guessing some executes thought it would be a great idea to centrally locate the processing meat business for maximum profits - while the consumer was left as the guinea pig!
oh my...don’t eat at those places anymore...bad - bad - bad...

In another 20 years, we’re going to see 100% automated processing plants where live pigs walk in at one end, and sausages and bacon come out the other..

I’m sure it’s crap, but it’s the only thing McD’s sells that tastes good, or has any taste at all.
The only time I visit Mcd’s is when the MacRib is “in season.”

Does that video feature Grant Imahara, formerly of Mythbusters? I heard his new gig was doing spots for McDonalds busting myths that their food is made out of pig ears and sawdust.

How processed food is made is not something I want to know. I just want to eat it. lol

The McRib is made with tripe, heart and scalded stomach. That's why I won't ever touch one.

Being just a few miles away from a couple of Kansas City area barbeque places that make most of the top ten barbeque joints in America lists, I have never tried a McRib. If I lived in Maine, I would not go to the Red Lobster.
