Athens County Sheriff's Lt. Steve Sedwick had never seen anything like it.
Around 5 a.m. Wednesday, as he was leaving Athens to head toward Albany to patrol, Sedwick spotted four deer carcasses lying in the middle of the highway exit lane. The bizarre site was on the exit for Ohio Rt. 682 off of Rt. 32/50/33, the main highway through Athens.
"I caught something in the corner of my eye as I drove by and it looked like there was something laying in the middle of the road," he said Friday. "So I stopped and backed up - I had no idea what it was at first - and when I put the spotlight on it, and saw it was four deer lying there, it was pretty unusual."
Initially, Sedwick said, he suspected the deer may have been hit by a car. He blocked the roadway and closed off the exit ramps so he could enter the highway safely and figure out what was going on, he said.
"I checked each and every one of the deer, and there was really no damage, no blood, no fur torn or anything like that to indicate they were hit by a vehicle," he said. "The only logical conclusion was that they, all four, jumped off of that bridge, one right after the other. It's something I've never seen before."

Probably were running for some Democratic spot on this elections ticket; and herd that Obama was coming to whip up support for them!
Arrest whomever put up that Deer Crossing sign at the busy bridge area, when they should have put it up at the far safer spot on the highway a few miles down the road.
LOL !!! I recall a phone call to a radio station like that once :)

Local chatter is that they had it coming.

The same thing happened with a bunch of Democrat turkeys who were also running for office.
President Obama was offended when the birds told him *NOT* to attend any of their campaign stops.
He was visibly angry and felt that their treatment of him as the standing President of the United States was very fowl.
I could see how this could easily happen. They have a lot of those really high overpasses in TX. Herd of deer run onto the road and up onto the overpass. When they get near the top something scares them and jump over the fence.
They were playing Follow the Leader. Kind of like what America is doing these days.

It was mating season and a large ram was out looking for female sheep. Out of the corner of his eye he spied a particularly attractive one and gave chase. Across the fields and through the woods the ram was relentless in his pursuit. The female sheep was growing tired and to make matters worse, she found herself at the edge of a 1,000 foot cliff. The ram came up behind her and at the last second, she darted off to the side. As the ram plummeted off the cliff he was heard to say, “Damn, I didn’t see that ewe turn!”
