A metaphor for the Obama campaign and its followers.

Looks like four does...
Darn female emotional decision makers!!! They don’t make good leaders. Neither does our current male emotional decision maker president for that matter!

I put one up at the end of my driveway; but the deer around here must be on to me...

BTW, for those who dont know what were talking about - a woman called into a radio station and complained that the deer crossing signs were in dangerous places. I was worried about hitting deer, too.
So I bought some of them thar deer whistles ya put on yer pickup.
It was only about 5-6 miles from the store to my house; but I hit two deer on the way HOME!
When the insurance guy showed up, I told him I wuz gonna SUE! the manufacturer of them dumb whistles.
After he checked out the damage, he told me that I probably should not sue.
"Why NOT!?!", I hollered!
"Uh", he stammered; "It appears that you installed them BACKWARD!"

I guess
here.
I think this is a known phenomenon, where the visual cues for height are not present. The approaches to the overpass are through level ground, and the deer think ( implicitly ) that they are jumping over a railing.

Look further, Officer, there is a problem...........such as someone poisoned them and dropped them off Doubt it. What would be the motive?
These incidents are apparently not that uncommon. For instance, there was a four-deer case in Cleveland in 2009.

They keep showing those Rudolph reruns earlier & earlier, with blatant disregard of their effects on impressionable, young deer ....

Out in Utah, I came across seven dead deer (Mulies) near the roadway. There were a lot of 18-wheelers using that stretch of highway. Speaking to a retired truck driver, he said it was not unusual for deer to run into the side of an 18-wheeler.
Years later, my dad had his car repaired from a deer strike. I noted there was no damage to the grill. He said, "The deer had run into the side of his SUV, and damaged the passenger door"which I hadn't looked at!

Last I knew in Texas they would take it to a Processor and then on to a Shelter or Charity but it had to be run by the Packer first.
Not sure in NC what happens.
