A slender woman set up dates on Tinder using her real profile picture, then showed up looking much different than her picture.
First they set up dates for a slim, attractive woman on Tinder. Using body adhesives and make up, they made her appear 100 pounds heavier, and then set up a hidden camera to record the mens reactions.
The reactions ranged from surprised to rude to just plain mean. Of five Tinder matches, only one stayed for the entire date, and even he joked with her, asking, Do you like to eat?
The Huffington Post called the mens reactions appalling, noting that A man doesnt have to be attracted to a woman to respect her.

That’s part 2 and I’ve already watched it.
They have one with the genders reversed...none of the girls left, and he even got a kiss!
They did that. The skinny-fat guy even got second dates. One girl gave him a kiss.
So what exactly is the point? That people looking for a mate actually care how that mate looks, and men prefer attractive women?
Real shocker.
And if a fat, ugly, poor, 50 year old man shows up instead of the hunky man in the photo, what? Are we do believe the women are going to stick around and not care?
HER POINT was more valuable than another human beings time.
She represented herself as one thing, but when she showed up, she presented herself as something else.
She was dishonest from the out set in dealing with these men and now they want to denigrate these men.
If someone isn't comfortable enough with who they are that they have to lie about something so self-evident, that is no place to start a relationship unless you are their therapist and the relationship is a professional one.
But, women think differently. Obviously the guy needed them to remodel him...("...of, course, mama, he'll change.").
Which is why so many women end up in screwed up relationships.
And as a control data set, they showed a fat woman in the ad and had a slender woman show up, right? Right?
They didn’t? Then they have nothing, and can draw no legitimate conclusions.
The only viable experiment would be the one they did, then fat ad/slender woman sample, then one where the woman shown in the ad shows up.
What they did works the ignorant into a tizzy, and proves nothing
agreed. Like most of these social “experiments”, it is a one sided story. In this case, the woman lying on a dating profile is irrelevant and one must only focus on the “horrible” man’s response.
JoMa
Better to find out that a woman (or man) is a liar from the get-go. Saves a lot of trouble later on.
What?! Suffering from, like, Ebola?
Or do you mean: virile?

Showing how men are shallow, neanderthals who need to respect women for who they are not what they are....keep dreaming! If a man showed up 100 lbs heavier and bald a women would fall head over heals, yeah right. Another feminazi move.
If you read the story you will find that they did that ‘experiment’ too...
“What was the point of this whole exercise?”
To observe the reaction of men to women who lie about themselves on dating sites!!!
brother, you nailed that ... women on facebook and twitter are ferocious as Nazi storm troopers fighting stalin for berlin ...
Yeah and she basically dressed like a hooker....lots of exposed flesh and THEN tapes men who notice and react. Nice play.
I suspect the men feel somewhat like women who find their dates 5” shorter and 8 years older than stated on their profiles, having gone bald since the last picture they posted, and actually unemployed rather than working in the occupation listed. Oh, “separated” rather than divorced is a good one too.
