Prior to its inevitable endorsement of the incumbent Democrat, the Denver Post produced profiles of Bob Beauprez and John Hickenlooper. The stories were interesting from start to finish. It was fascinating to read what was included, and what was not.
Bobs started with his faith in G-d. Hicks started with his new stray dog. Hicks profile ended with him attending the book signing event of his estranged wife, Helen Thorpe. Bobs profile ended with words of love and devotion from his biggest fan, his wife Claudia Beauprez.
Bob is described as a devout Catholic with limited exceptions regarding abortion. Neither Hicks faith nor any limitations he would place on late term abortion were revealed.
In case you want to ping.
(if Starlin didn't say that..then I did for him....)
I know. I was very surprised to see him write this!
“The Post is dedicated to portraying Hick as a centrist and Bob on the fringe but the reality is the opposite. What could be more left wing fringe than the Chinook Fund? This charity Hick founded has always been dedicated to progressive causes like the Colorado Campaign for Middle East Peace, Denver Cop Watch, The Boulder Living Wage Campaign, Transform Columbus Day Alliance, Colorado ACORN.”
What the left believes leaves me shaking my head.
Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
For those unfamiliar, Craig Silverman and Dan Caplis had a local Colorado radio show, wherein Craig was the liberal voice.
However, over the years Dan’s convincing ways moved Craig far enough past Center and to the right, that the station cancelled the program due to lack of contrast.
Not to mention that the left is loath to have such examples of conversion hanging around for all to see and hear.
Hickenlooper ... supported left wing groups like Chinook Fund, Colorado ACORN, Denver Cop Watch and the Gender Identity Center of Colorado.

Wow, Gender Identity Center of Colorado! I wonder if Hick and his estranged wife were competing for the same men?
Hick also supported Re-create 68 ( Re-create 68 tried to disrupt the DNC Denver Convention ).
What, the DemocRAT candidates were not radical enough?
Still wonder when Caplis is gonna run for something. He is a good Romney/McCain kinda ‘pubie.
Caplis is still an ambulance chaser attorney and probably making millions per year. Why would he give that up for low pay and dealing with politics?
He may have calculated the same.
From what I have seen of politicians, they value control over other people more than personal income. Dan Caplis has ads saying he takes only righteous injury cases. That would be OK if true. I do not have any evidense if this is true in cases he took, but I agreed with his views when he was on the radio show in Denver.
