My god! you are a first class idiot. I sent you a FReepmail. How the hell would I know your real address? I have just resent the FReepmail. I’m done with this argument, but the main takeaway for you is that, just because you think someone couldn’t buy unlocked iPhones at the Apple Store in OC, doesn’t mean it’s true.

Well, your "resend" of Freepmail is now in my inbox and the mail from your friend is quite different from your representation on this forum.

Your original claim was that ALL iPhones are sold unlocked. You now claim he says he says, according to you "Yup, got a couple iPhone 6’s & 6 plus’s; a couple ATT, and a couple T-Mobile." Why would he bother to buy the AT&T phones when the unlocked T-Mobiles would take an AT&T sim just fine? Why would he do that? Again, dinodino, it doesn't make sense and I refer you again to Judge Judy's admonition. That would require that AT&T unlock the iPhone for use on a non-AT&T network. None of this had you mentioned before. . . which I think you would have commented he had bought several. Your omission of those claims are as revealing as your original statement. Then you have him going into an irrelevant mini-tutorial about AT&T with GSM and Verizon's non-world standard CDMA. This just doesn't ring true.

I spent a year as the foreman of my county's Criminal Grand Jury, listenening to dissembling and people trying to make things sound reasonable. . . adding things to their narratives to add verisimilitude. I got very good at detecting BS. Frankly, I see you're dancing like that.

As I told you, Apple's in store and online policy (as per Apple) was intended for specifically blocking straw sales that seemed to be purchasing for export resale. Buying multiple phones met that criteria because that is what it would appear your friend's purchase would appear to be. . . especially when purchased for two different platforms. Perhaps I'm wrong. . . but I don't think so. . . given the absolutist position where you started in this conversation, and your changing story.

I'm done.

I mean this in the best possible sense: you and your imaginary grand jury can collectively suck a bag of dicks. Shall I call you from JED on one of the phones in question to wish you the same?

Interesting. You have to defend yourself by accusations and rude sexual terminology. No, dinodino, there's no imaginary Grand Jury here. I was appointed foreman because of my experience, respect, and standing in the community. I've mentioned it several times in postings on FreeRepublic. Your pattern of answers and your dancing around is what doesn't ring true. Sorry, I call it as I see it.

Anecdotes from friends are not factual data in the face of a stated company policies that was being followed. You came on this thread to tell Apple iPhone users how stupid they were for buying iPhones tied to carriers—a typical pattern we have seen many times before from anti-Apple product trolls, telling Apple users how stupid they are—and made an unsupported and false claim that "all iPhones are sold unlocked" and then you started your dance—which you don't do very well—when I and others who DO know what we are talking about, challenged your assertion. You, instead of noting your error, kept trotting out more reasons why WE were wrong. . . escalating those reasons and adding more and more detail, with each re-telling, in an apparent effort to make them seem more "true." Any investigator will tell you that adding such details is a red flag of fabrication. It sure raised them for me. You will not convince me.

Just got my 6plus. It was bent right out of the box. Not a ton, just maybe 1/16 inch, but is is clearly not flat.

As far as I've heard, that's a first. Take it back.

That’s my plan. I’m sure Apple will make it right. It’s a great device. I was just surprised when it looked a little “off.”

It just figures it was my phone. ...and I have an iPhone 5 from work with the power switch issue they need to fix.
