But given that they cheer the damn kicks and punts more than anything else, does it really matter if they get good teams? It seems they maybe wouldn’t know the difference, they just aren’t into the sport.

But “Rog” somehow sees potential dollar signs, so that’s all that matters, and Seven’s poor Raiders lose a winnable home game.

If the NFL is Hell-bent on international expansion, they should look at Mexico; makes much more logistical sense.

There’s two big things they want from international expansion: money, and the next generation of players. Mexico doesn’t have much of the former, and they’re already drawing players from down there. Europe has plenty of both, and the NBA has proven it’s a good market to tap into.
