Freeze coming 1-2 weeks early to Vermont and New York

This is simply “negative warming,” says reader Irving Prentice.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BURLINGTON VT… SEP 17 2014

CONDITIONS ARE IDEAL FOR A WIDESPREAD FROST/FREEZE EVENT THURSDAY NIGHT…AS STRONG HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE REGION FROM ONTARIO AND SWRN QUEBEC. 1000-500MB RH VALUES DROP
BELOW 30 PERCENT…AND ANTICIPATE GENERALLY CLEAR SKIES WITH LIGHT WINDS.

FREEZE WATCH FOR ALL ZONES EXCEPT GRAND ISLE COUNTY (CHAMPLAIN ISLANDS)…WHERE THE MODERATING INFLUENCE OF THE WARMER LAKE WATERS SHOULD LOCALLY PRECLUDE A FREEZE.

TEMPS WILL RANGE FROM 31-35F FOR MOST OF THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY (JUST A FROST IN SOME LOCATIONS NEAR THE LAKE)…AND GENERALLY MID 20S TO LOWER 30S ELSEWHERE ACROSS NRN NY AND VERMONT.

THE FREEZE WILL BE CLIMATOLOGICALLY EARLY BY 1-2 WEEKS IN MANY AREAS OF CENTRAL/ERN VT AND THE ST. LAWRENCE VALLEY OF NY

Dang. A little late for today’s glow-bull climate discombobulation march in nyc. (is it today?) These dumbasses should be hopin’ that it stays warm and learn to adapt to any changes. Freezin’ ain’t a good thing.

Wouldn’t it be delicious if it had to be cancelled because it’s too cold.

They'd just call it climate change in action.

I remember some years ago Ass Gore came to NYC to give a speech on Global warming the same day NYC set a record for coldest temperature and incredibly he blamed the cold on Global warming LOL! It was right after that they changed the name to “Climate change” LOL

To: anyone

Does anyone have that map that shows the different areas of the country weatherwise for the coming winter?

Saw a woman buying a green posterboard in the stationery store yesterday, so I asked her if she was making a sign for the Klinghoffer protest (Metropolitan Opera doing a show about terrorism). She didn’t realize I was joking. Didn’t even know what I meant. Started explaining to me all about climate change. Sigh.

Here in Kalifornia, we've got fingers crossed that the El Nino will kick in to a nice degree....

Based on what I have been seeing from the developing El Nino it is still trying to develop into something significant.

El Niño is Kinda Sorta Maybe Here

Our City Council is doing a whole bunch of stuff to fight climate change. They are totally out of control.

Yeah....friends went deep sea fishing off San Diego a coupla weeks ago, and the fishing was phenomenal with lots of yellowfin and dorado - apparently those species tend to stay “down Mexico way” due to the warmer waters there.

So your city council have declared themselves gods who can control the weather and are more powerful than the Sun?
