Is FreeRepublic Pro Harry Reid?
Vanity | 9/17/2014 | Vanity

Posted on 09/17/2014 4:36:52 PM PDT by Kansas58

A very disturbing number of Freepers are openly advocating, on Free Republic threads, for the defeat of Senator Pat Roberts and other good Conservative Republicans. Greg Orman, in Kansas, is a pro abortion, anti gun, tax and spend Liberal Democrat who has given tens of thousands of dollars to Obama and Pelosi and the Democrat Party and Harry Reid. I am called an "idiot" for supporting Roberts. However, I think that those on Free Republic who support Harry Reid and Greg Orman should be ZOTTED, kicked off the site. I have had enough of there hate filled, vindictive, misguided trash.

That is why the “conservative rating system” is a farce.

I know, you are exactly right. I dealt with the Cloture Vote thing on an earlier thread today.

I have a real problem when Senators, who are supposed to represent the interest of the states, only visits the state when he is up for re-election

And yet when it comes down to people that are anti-Roberts they seem to a huge degree to come from other states. Like you who seem to be from California. I like all your TEA Party Senators. And they are?

HELL NO! Pat Roberts will not return to KS when he leaves the Senate. His family has been in VA since his kids were in Elementary School. What does he have in Kansas? Not a damn thing. Hell, I bet you his old wrinkled ass won’t even be buried in Kansas when he dies.

A lot of these Freepers seem to have selective memory when it comes
to cloture votes.

Wow. Really?

Point out a Republican who is apparently, if not PRO Obamacare outright, is at least ambivalent enough that it amounts to the same thing and you run away.

Will the Republicans do anything against Obamcare should they take the senate? Yes or no.

How about this one:

Now, explain to me why they’d have donated $100K to Cochran if he weren’t going to support their immigration ideals?

“Not supporting the RINO does not equal supporting a liberal.”

It does in the general election unless it is an alternative universe where the Dem is less liberal than the R.

We want to stop the disease of RINObola from a complete wipeout of the political right. It seems to have infected many of FR’s posters lately so we can’t take any chances.

You don’t need to get nasty, keep voting rino and pretty soon your vote in your state will mean as much as my vote in mine.

“So your answer is to support, say, Romney who is ideologically the same as his opponent?
Show me how the RINOs are any different from the Dems?”

This is an example of the cynicism and nihilism that you preach.

Your goal seems to be to spread disillusionment and defeatism.

Romney in no way is as bad as Obama and to make such as case cannot be construed as anything other than either support for Obama or misanthropy for the sake of it.

“My non-vote for RINOs doesn’t equate to support for Rats.”

You can tell yourself that as often as you wish, but it will never be true.

If you support a RINO with a vote, you get a RINO.

Unless, as usual, the RINO loses. Then you get a dem. Of course, it makes sense to vote for a conservative and stop caving in so that RINOs become extinct. But some people just keep them in contention and thus syphon votes from ignorant voters who vote RINO ‘no matter what’.

You want gain with no effort. Suck it up. We have to purge RINOs ‘no matter what’.

Cochran? I'm from Kansas. I can't vote or not vote for Cochran. I vote for my Senator. We didn't have Democrats voting in the primaries. Wolf lost fair and square. If some independent whose policies are in alignment with the Democratic Party choses to run I know who I will vote for.

“The GOPe has been back stabbing Conservatives and intentionally losing races where their perfumed prince has failed.”

True. I really dislike those guys.

Yet it has nothing to do with keeping the Senate and Congress out of the hands of Harry Reid.

Why bother? Mitch and Jonbon give harry and barry cash, weapons for muslims, help protect Dems from prosecution and all the lib judges and appointments he asks for.

That has happened time and again. It isn’t nhilism. It’s the actions of the GOP.

“lol, feelings vs. principle.

Learn the difference.”

Yes, the principle of keeping Harry Read out of the Senate Majority leader position.

“Thad is scum.”

Won’t argue against that, but totally irrelevant with regard to taking away Harry Reid’s power.

Once again and I've said this many times before If you can bring on an example of Roberts voting a position of RINO then give me the information. If you can't then STFU.

Even if Willard didn’t have a history or record in public office to go by, the despicable acts of his minions attacking and undermining Sarah Palin SHOuLD have been an indicator of what that whole flaming pile of crap would pull once he got the nomination 4 years later.

He should have lost by more given their b.s. with primary election rule changes.

Now that eunuch parades himself out as some kind of second coming/ savior that may grace us with the opportunity to watch him loose a second time on a grander scale.

Perhaps this time he will AGAIN change party affiliation, change his name to Guillermo Romulus and select Rep. Louis Gutierrez. as his running mate and adopt 14 smuggled Honduran kids to use as campaign props. He’ll even get a luggage rack installed on his bus so they won’t fall off the roof when he tours/campaigns

Why bother? A perfect example of what I am saying.

Spreading defeatism and nihilism.

That’s fine for you to feel that way, but why be interested in politics or involved in a political forum?

And why try to convince others not to care?
