Back in the late 1940s, the vet in the small town where my wife was born did deliveries when the doc wasn’t available; and the doc would patch up critters when the vet wasn’t available. Nobody worried about it a bit.

Nobody worried about it a bit.Friend of mine stiches up his own kids and has done the same for a number of the neighbor kids. Antibiotics are antibiotics and generally the animal versions are cheaper.
