No Doubt. This is actually common in many rural area’s. The vet is local and the Doctor is an hour and a half drive. Also, the meds are cheaper.

When I was in 1st grade my parents took me to the vet down the road when I caught ringworm. Kids in my class had to have their heads shaved and wear a silly white cap. I did not. Who knows what the vet gave them but it cured the ringworm.

The stuff I have sen my vet do for my cows and horses is amazing. A procedure an MD would charge $6,000 or more for is under $100 on a horse.

I usually fill my animal prescriptions at the “people” drugstore, so how much difference can there be?

I gotta quit chasing cars, though......

A good vet is likely a superior diagnostician for the simple reason that his patients cannot describe an ailment. A lousy vet doesn’t practice long.

Good deal! I still have a pack left over after Dog2.0 for Doomonyou passed earlier this year. :(

Most definitely.

Just put it in the keywords when you post it.

Back in the late 1940s, the vet in the small town where my wife was born did deliveries when the doc wasn’t available; and the doc would patch up critters when the vet wasn’t available. Nobody worried about it a bit.

Plain old athlete’s foot or jock itch cream will do it.

So glad people here like that show. Don’t know anyone in real life who has even watched it.

Looking forward to vegging out in season 8 this weekend on Netflix. Saw the Ireland special last week on Netflix, featuring Rush.

...and then there were the guys (all completely non-licensed) in North Carolina back in ‘06 who were doing castrations and testicle replacements out of their house.
