A child of three has become one of the youngest ever to be seen by NHS doctors for possible gender identity disorder.
The infant was seen by medics at the Portland Clinic in London, which helps people who believe they are in the wrong body.
The child was the youngest of 468 under-18s seen in the past 12 months.
It is not known if the patient is a boy or a girl, although seven boys are referred for every girl.
Gender-swap former boxing manager Kellie Maloney , 61, previously called Frank, has said: “It was probably when I was three or four that I knew I was different.”
A spokesman for the clinic said: “In the case of children presenting with gender dysphoria in pre-pubescence, the majority do not end up choosing to undertake physical intervention.”

I was playing in mud puddles when I was three. These parents need help, badly. They’re are living out their warped fantasies through their child. Unfortunately there are no grownups in a position to intervene.

A child;s brain isn't developed enough and so doesn't understand that individual sex is permanent until about age eight. Before that time, children will go through a period where they will be more attached to their mothers, and then more attached to the fathers, or vice versa, before they settle into their appropriate sex identification. A young boy who likes a sparkly taffeta scarf isn't exhibiting he's gay, only that he likes the sparkly stuff - this week. Next week he'll like frogs. Just like little girls. To submit children to sex-change surgery and then a forced sex role based on the surgery is child abuse.

Most people’s memories do NOT go back to the age of three.
I don’t even remember what life was like when I was three years old.
The only justification for medical involvement at age 3 is in those very rare cases where the physical parts are hopelessly confused. I used to know a woman who sexed piglets, and she would see this, but only rarely.
Didn’t a doctor say that post-surgery trannies are still very sick? Why is this still being done?
If most trannies are males, why are they so confused?
Maybe when they develop superhero wearable tech, it’ll become the new trend. Too bad they don’t have wearable tech for trannys.

You are lucky that
a) you are not kids now and
b) they have not perfected species change operations yet.
Gezz, a 3 yr old doesn’t know what he/she wants! But the parents are going to force this on the kid? What happens when he/she/it grows up? Heck I was “different” as a kid, still am for that matter. It is called individuality.
I don’t think they’re playing out warped fantasies. It’s all about recognizing their “real” sex. Assumedly, starting hormones earlier will make it easier to pretend. I keep seeing really ugly trannys. I know some look alright, but on the whole, they look their born sex. I haven’t researched it, but how does a m2f tranny orgasm? Or f2m? Can they even orgasm?
I was 3 in 1979 and I don’t remember a damn thing either.
