I recall a traffic school CHP cop instructor relating how some drunk told a class just that about the invention of cruise control.
The CHP agreed, as erratic speed changes were an easy tipoff to a drunk driver.

Can you imagine the lawsuits resulting from the accidents if this thing goes haywire?

It probably has more US-made parts than a Government Motors product.

It couldn’t do worse than some idrivers. My question is control. Power windows are great, but in an accident, are worse thanmanual.

Lawyers will be chomping at the bit for all the lawsuits.

No kidding. I’d feel safer with a jet-pack.

My folks drove Buicks, then Chevrolets and finally Oldsmobiles. My father fought the Japanese and would NOT buy their cars. You have a Ridgeline?

I drive a 1997 Nissan Hardbody. And I don’t plan to quit.

Would put a dent in air travel, I’d think. Go to sleep in Atlanta, wake up in Chicago.

They will not be produced until there are laws defining what they can and can’t be sued over. Just like vaccines. No protection from lawsuits, no vaccines.

I do. I bought it last June and so far am very happy.
My Dad did the same and I am sure he would have a fit if he knew I had bought a Japanese vehicle. Even if it was made in Kentucky.
I have always sworn that I would never buy a foreign vehicle. But between politics and the unions... Besides, the alternative is Ford and they are mighty proud of their trucks.

My car says your car isn’t worth the asphalt it rolls on, and has said so via the intra-vehicular link. And now, what is your car going to do about it?
To: E. Pluribus Unum
That makes me feel a little better.

Can I equip my Mustang GT with vehicle-to-vehicle technology that tells the slow Caddy to get out of the left lane?
