I’ll bet very few of us who have driven cars ourselves will use this technology.

I will never again buy a Government Motors product. They are dead to me.

When cars go fully autonomous, what will we do in them? Sleep, read, watch TV, eat? It will be akin to train or airplane travel.

As badly as GM has lost their way, why would I trust them to drive my car?
Of course, this is the logical extension of OnStar, the ultimate personal tracking system. This makes it much easier for the NSA...

A Cadillac that drives itself, by 2016To be followed by a Cadillac that recalls itself, by 2018.
To: Citizen Zed
It will need to because I won’t buy one.

To: Citizen Zed
I will retain control.
That is all.

Maybe a Cadillac that peels itself off the tree or the Cadillac that extracts itself from under the tractor trailer.

Future Press Release:
"We regret the numerous fatalities that have occurred when the occupants lightly nudged the system's ignition unit, causing it to shut off and slam into the nearest object at warp speed. Dealers now have a retrofit, and you should be getting your recall notice any year now, as soon as lawsuits force us to offer it. Thank you for buying Government Motors. Have a nice day!"

Same here 2DV.
I have driven a Chevy all my life. When my last truck (a good one) wore out...I bought a....Honda. Best bang for the buck.
It was a very emotional experience. I still look out in the driveway and wonder whose truck that is.

Same here.
I didn’t even like the cars that “talked” to you. I sure wouldn’t like a car that drove itself.
