another anomaly has come and gone ... Think John is on to ‘em.
oh no ... spoke with RedMDer recently online. Life and Sadness. Prayers for RedMDer and all of Family and Friends.
Prayers being said. Rest comfortably with our Lord, Lynn, and am certain you are in Heaven, Lynn, fully winged, singing and shouting Praises.
OK. I’m safe and so glad THAT isn’t why it’s called “Queens.”
I don’t know Red but I certainly pray he is comforted. Lynn needs no such.
was in ‘Queens’ about twenty years ago. Tight housing, narrow streets and was going to Mets Stadium for two nights, three days just off of WhiteHorse. Same place?
should clarify that last post ... was there to watch two Mets games. Think Carter, one of the catchers that season, was in his last season but might be incorrect.
Hey, a week of more than 4 lbs. loss in encouraging, too! Older women have the hardest time losing weight.
I’m torn between getting a personalized plate for the 7, vs. getting the first alphanumeric off the top of the pile, which would be cheaper and faster.
All you have to remember is that it’s YOUR car, and you will have to look at the plate whenever you get ready to drive it. How you respond to the plate you see will dictate which way you will go. YOU are the only person you have to please with your choice!
As soon as I can, I will get more things to go with fruit and vegetables so that I can have at least six little meals a day. It’s not as easy as it sounds, because so much of the items have so many points.
Now that my foot is healing, I will try to walk a little more each day. One woman told me of the park not to far from here and the trail that runs to there from the RR tracks beside the complex. If I use that eventually, it will make a full circle of about 1-1/2 miles.
I will start easy at first, and just wander around the complex. I think a pedometer will be a good idea, too.
If I have the alphanumeric, I’ll never think of it except when I try to remember what it is.
That was my number one reason for going with vanity...so I can remember it when I need to. Us old ladies have memory problems, ya know. I’m really tired of LISTS!
Even when I have to pay the $20 extra each year for registration, I’m glad I got the BB SUV plates.
Just had some strawberries and Cool Whip and a hard boiled egg. Yummy. But I found a bag of fruit in the freezer that was hidden by the milk, so I have a new taste to savor for the next mini-meal. Along with a hard boiled egg. ;o]
Always nice to get a pleasant surprise!
I can vouch for THAT, for sure!
I always hated that.
I had spinach and salmon. DP has to go out to Ruth’s Chris Steak House with his coworkers (but doesn’t have to pay, fortunately, since it’s compulsory). I’m going to a Stewardship Committee meeting in about an hour. You can’t get volunteered for something in absentia if you’re there.
I’m always nice, Bob ... also, the car is memorable.
Sounds the same but the Mets play at Citi field now.
I was nowhere near. I was at the Sanitation Central Repair Station. I saw an architectural drawing of when the building was new - cars from “Happy Days.”
I prefer that my nicenecessity be a voluntary thing.
Mine is hard-coded. Glitches occur, but not when I’m in a condition in which I could safely drive.
I have to protect my reputation as a curmudgeon.
I understand. Nobody will learn otherwise from me!
