Michael Sam signed with the Dallas Cowboys today after passing his physical exam with the team, according to various reports. He will be placed on the team's practice squad.
Sam grew up in Galveston, Texas, about four hours south of Dallas. Sam's estranged father lives in the Dallas area.

Just head lines for J.Jones. Sam did not make it on the RAMS (not a powerhouse) now he is in the practice sqd.. after he shows that is talent is not NFL level he will fade away but JJ got his “press”
Their defense is so bad, that even the non-NFL talent Sam might help. If not, they can hope the Sam circus takes some heat off them.

I became a Cowboy fan mostly due to Tom Landry. He was a gentleman and a consistent Christian witness. Jerry Jones has really soured me on the team I once loved. This move underscores his utter lack of character. Jones may be a terrific businessman, but he’s immoral and egotistical, not to mention a lousy general manager.

I’m sure Sam jerseys will sell real well in Oak Lawn. (For those of you in Rio Linda, Oak Lawn is Dallas’ version of “The Castro.”)
