Surfers Ride the 'Most Dangerous Wave in the World'

Professional surfers face up to one of the world's most menacing waves in Sydney, Australia

Surfers braved "the most dangerous wave in the world" as they took part on Red Bull's Cape Fear competition on Sunday.

Sydney, Australia's Botany Bay played host to the inaugural event, which saw 16 elite surfers go head-to-head riding giant waves.

The wave is not particularly dangerous, but the stupidity of riding one breaking on top of a rocky reef is just plain stupid.

Idiot news title and article. Search Laird Hamilton and Tahiti if you want to see dangerous.

Sorry for the redundancy, but the video clip just pissed me off as being "dangerous" rather than Darwinian.

Sort of like saying the most dangerous car race is one heading straight at a brick wall.
