Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and proponents of his plan to build a 13-story Islamic center near Ground Zero are now being helped by Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform and conservative Republican activist.
Norquist and his associates are calling on the Republican Party to drop its opposition to the plan, arguing that the GOP is threatening the rights of Muslims and that its criticism will backfire politically.

Ever been? Lots of American flags around, loads of cool new desert-hopping vehicles, some pretty good music, all ages, all races, all creeds and colors. Troubles? Yup. But peaceful for the most part. Here in Nevada, it’s a big event. I can understand how someone outside the Silver State might not view it the same way.
Is Norquist actually a Muslim, or just one of their useful idiots?
Was Norquist on the MTV show ‘Ridiculousness’ diving naked onto an 8’ folding table? I turned to my wife and said, “Wife, I think that was Grover Norquist, and he was really drunk.”
