A preliminary autopsy commissioned by the family of Michael Brown suggests that there was no sign of a struggle in his death, and that all but one of at least six gunshot wounds in his body were likely survivable, according to Dr. Michael Baden, a renowned New York forensic pathologist who performed a private autopsy after a Ferguson, Mo., police officer killed the unarmed, black 18-year-old.

Baden said in his preliminary autopsy that he believes Brown would not have been able to survive the bullet that hit at the top of his head and traveled through his brain.

Appearing Monday before reporters in the sanctuary of the Greater St. Mark Family Church in St. Louis, Baden and three of the family’s attorneys went through the diagram of Brown’s wounds that was released with the autopsy.

Don't forget Baden said there was a "graze wound" on the unarmed teenager's right hand. I wonder if that's from the pistol slide raking his hand as the first round went off in the cruiser. IOW - the gentle giant had his hand on Wilson's gun and was attempting to take it away and use it on the cop.

This whole thing is just "suicide by cop"

the lawyers are trying to rehabilitate the 18 year old from thug back to victim.

How are these rioters going to feel when they hear about this president giving full amnesty and thus an jobs to the illegal aliens. Will they feel warm and fuzzy then?

“”So how many autopsy’s are going to be done before we get the facts?””

As many as it takes to get the results the family wants - especially when Baden is involved. He’s no different from Jackson or Sharpton - always riding in the direction of the controversy. Who’s paying him in this incident?

Victims Put Up Long Fight, A Witness for Simpson Says
By DAVID MARGOLICK
Published: August 11, 1995

A forensic pathologist called by the defense said today that both Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald L. Goldman put up significant struggles before they died, fighting hard enough to have left marks on their killer and occupying him long enough to eliminate O. J. Simpson as a suspect.

The witness, Dr. Michael Baden, co-director of the forensics unit of the New York State Police Department in Albany, said Mrs. Simpson was not incapacitated until the moment she died and had not been lying unconscious as the prosecution contends. And he said Mr. Goldman could have fought for 5, 10 or 15 minutes after his jugular vein was cut, as well as several minutes beforehand.

did anyone claim he died during a struggle?

He assaulted a cop and then decided to return and charge the guy from what I read.

What cop is going to risk his job, family, pension, and his family’ well-being by killing someone in cold blood?

With one qualification that Dr. Baden has already admitted to: while there was no gunpowder residue on the body, he did not have access to Brown's clothing. And the clothing is more likely to show a gunpowder residue than the body.

Which makes one of his last FB comments particularly “interesting”:

ST Louis PD considering legal action against Highway Patrol for forbidding their wearing shields and helmets. I hope they’re fast as the Molotov cocktails and broken bricks rain down. The MO National Guard sent to Ferguson will also be operating under the direction of the Hwy Patrol.

Few if ANY news reports even identify the governor as a Democrat. It is always “some white old man” named Nixon.

Next the lawyers and al Sharpton will say it is the same Nixon as in 1972.

interestingly enough, the perp charged the store clerk EXACTLY like he charged the cop.

he was walking out of the store and turned and moved fast towards the clerk. did it to the cop and lost his life.

good point.

why isn’t the family throwing a fit that all the evidence wasn’t made available to baden since the family is who hired him.

I had read this morning that he had a broken eye socket. If true, that would help explain some things.

Your Straw. Your Man.

Which is, itself, a straw man.

Doubling down on stupidity is possible, but rarely is it ever advisable.
