That didn’t take long. Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro on Friday night called for Gov. Rick Perry to resign “for the sake of Texas” just hours following the announcement of Perry’s indictment on two criminal felony counts involving abuse of office.

Like I was telling AH1952, I just can’t fathom what the rats expect to net from this.
I have no use for Perry, since he's a liberal.... but he didn't break the law, and this is a malicious prosecution.

Anyone know why they didn't work to keep this from happening again? They destroyed Tom DeLay's career, specifically because he was the most effective conservative on the national scene. Now Rick Perry, one of the most vocal Obama critics, is under assault. It is ridiculous that this can happen in Texas.
Abbot/Patrick will put an end to the Travis Co terrorism at first opportunity, the RATS know that.. maybe they want a final parting shot?
Did Cruz defending Perry enter into their calculations? (It didn’t mine.)
In the meantime, Texans need to boycott the hell out of Travis Co. I am.
Screw this Castro idiot....Perry leaves a lot to be desired, but he’s got the capabilities for doing the right thing in keeping the border of Texas from being further violated.

Like Obama, the Castro brothers have been presented as pragmatists and centrists. But those who know them best say it’s a lie. And now Julian is the convention keynote speaker for a party led by a far-left president in many ways similar to himself.
Mayor Julian Castro of San Antonio, who will be giving the keynote address tonight, is, according to some, the next Obama. But while Obama’s radicalism may have escaped the notice of the DNC in 2004, Castro’s views are bit more transparent.
Indeed, he, along with his twin, Joaquin, currently running for Congress, learned their politics on their mother’s knee and in the streets of San Antonio. Their mother, Rosie helped found a radical, anti-white, socialist Chicano party called La Raza Unida (literally “The Race United”) that sought to create a separate country—Aztlan—in the Southwest.
If the Democrats want to be the party in favor of drunks prosecuting DUI charges, all I have to say is “Go right ahead, fellas! Run on that.”
Unintended consequences: This just made Ted Cruz’s candidacy and nomination that much more likely. I hope Hillary will like debating the NORTH AMERICAN debating champion (both individual and team) and a man who has won many serious supreme court cases. Neither of which Hillary can claim on her “impressive” resume. And he is a fit 43 to her creaky 66. LOL

And Perry is absolutely loathed over there.
She was all over the road and that is what prompted a citizen to call 9/11 that night. There was a deputy's dashcam video of her on a road and she was on both sides of the center stripe.
There was a Hispanic state lawmaker who was stopped a few blocks from the state capitol with a .35 BAC several years ago. He was intending to drive back to the Rio Grande valley that night after the session ended. Instead, he spent the night at a crowbar hotel.
