This is summer in central NY ? It feels like Fall !
Last nights low was 54 degrees ..brrrr
The thermometer is struggling today to reach 70
Next week the temperature won't even hit 80 until next Friday , according to NOAA
Maybe it's time to start the fall crop - but in mid-August ,.. common !!

Tomorrows forecast by Joe Bastardi should prove to be interesting !
I think that he said earlier that it would warm up by the end of the month. I hope so .

Might start some seeds indoors, and then they’ll be ready for transplant when you are sure that fall is really here.

Chilly here in Connecticut also. I did get a good crop of patio tomatoes but the weather has stalled everything, so cut them all back and planted Garzania’s (annual on discount from Walmart) in the pots. They are an interesting flower as they open in the sun, close when no sun.
Feels like Fall like you said. 50 last night and not about 75 here today.
Went to the farmer’s market in town, not much there.
Grew up in NY- Hudson Valley.

Speaking of feeling like fall, our tree leaves are changing color!?! Weird.
