Michael Brown Was An "Unarmed Teen" Because He Was Unable To Take The Cop's Gun!!

I have heard repeatedly....ad nauseam...that Mr. Brown was an UNARMED TEEN.

Completely missing is the context. Be truthful, media. He was unarmed, according to reports, because he was unable to take the gun away from the police officer.

But we do have one cop who did a bad shoot. The teen surrendered thirty feet away and was shot anyway. That is a fact.

There are many facts that we do not know. It is obvious from watching the news that the local populace blames the cops for some of their problems. I am so damn tired of people who blame others, play victim, think they are owed, and; then they go out and riot, burn, loot, shoot etc. Why do I only see blacks rioting and looting stores? Who taught them that it was OK to smash windows and destroy a business or businesses and/or personal property and just take what they want? I recall Ft Bragg in late 67 and very early 68 before RVN, and; even SF company grade officers and NCO’s were doing riot training. We were never called up. The 82nd was called up. We were told if we were called to leave our berets at home. Both Newark and Detroit found out it was best not to riot.

You have to ask yourself why a witness needs a lawyer. Is that common practice?

The friend said he was within arms reach of BOTH the cop and his friend when the cop started firing? Does that make sense? Cuz everyone says the kid was 30 feet away when he was shot.

If the cop was black there would be no organized riots, thus no story.

If the cop was black then there's only a one in twenty chance he would have been on the Ferguson police department.

When dealing with the police, it would be stupid to not have a lawyer. I also don’t know if he is actually being represented by a lawyer because he is guilty of anything, as opposed to having a lawyer merely speaking for him. Third, it is possible that he needs a lawyer for something entirely separate than the shooting itself.

He is when he's 30 feet away and running in the opposite direction.

That's true. At the same time, I wonder how far away Vicky Weavers was.

You said

“None of the facts as we know them make a lot of sense.

I’m sure cops aren’t trained to grab people through their car window. That makes no sense, especially if the person is 300 pounds.

How would one reach inside the car to take the cops’ gun? That would be quite difficult to do unless the cop is asleep.”

This is the tip off, if people would think. But there is so much cop hating/ fear going on that people aren’t even thinking logically anymore. They are completely distracted from the fact that shear anarchy broke out & may even be rationalizing it.

Where the Trayvon Martin situation failed, this appears to be succeeding.

It could be both. I had heard the kid was shot, nonfatally, when he started running then surrendered, than the cop took a fatal shot when the kid was thirty feet away.

But that is for forensics to determine.

I believe the cop fired the first shot from inside the vehicle, and then the kid started running away.

Tiffany Mitchell had her lawyer with her when she was telling her story to CNN. The lawyer said he was also representing her friend who was standing on her balcony at the nearby apartments and also saw some of what happened.

My guess is they’re going to try and claim some kind of mental distress/anguish from having witnessed the ‘execution’ of brother Brown.

After a lifetime of seeing police lie in every encounter I have been a part of I have no faith that this is anything but a distraction.

That's the problem with the cops' position here. All the evidence they've given that the sooting was justifiable is the allegation that Brown tried to steal the cop's gun. Fine; that would give the cop a right to fire at Brown to stop the attempted theft, just as George Zimmerman had the complete right to fire at Martin to stop Martin from trying to beat his brains out. However, the outcome of the M/Z case would have been much different if Martin, although shot, had started to ruin away and Zimmerman had shot him while running. As of now, that's what it looks like happened here. If the cop fired additional shots at Brown after Brown broke off the confrontation, then the the cops need to explain why those later shots were justified. Unfortunately, thusfar the cops haven't stated how many later shots, if any , were fired and what the justification, if any, there was for firing them. Indeed, that's why there's a huge difference between this case and M/Z.

Now the township is back down to 4 full time cops for a township of some 4000 people.

Sounds like an appropriate ration 1:1000 ,, they won’t have time for or need to steal from the population via traffic scams to pay for their overtime.

My township only has about 2000 people in it and we had 5 full time cops and no reserves. They were good enough guys and never caused any problems but crime is nearly non existent here and we just couldn’t justify the expense.

By law we have to contract with the county Sheriff but they don’t come out here unless they’re called. I personally haven’t seen one here in town since last fall.

Some even hate cops because they never qualified to get on the job for one reason or another.

That’s a hoot....

A high school diploma , a record clean of felonies and a short amount of classroom time is all you need ... ANYONE qualifies ... except if you have an IQ above 104 (average/normal +4pts which is the tests margin of error) ,, only average to slightly dull people need apply (the smart ones get discouraged and quit too soon).

I have property in a small town in Illinois ,, 850 people ,,, one fulltime cop ,, no crime ... every situation is different but this should be the norm unless you have have a population predisposed to criminal acts ... excessive numbers of police means they MUST find crime even if it isn’t there or engage in money making activities (usually traffic fines) to justify their existence.

The fact that the Police Chief, Union Rep & Lawyer have not even uttered the word 'justified' with any fact to date doesn't bode well for the officer.

You want to give the LEO the benefit of the doubt, but the longer there isn't any facts presented in the officer's defense, the more my skepticism rises.

...and if the autopsy confirms shots in the back, well that would be murder.
