In a stunning video posted to YouTube Saturday, a Russian gas station can be seen leaking gas (or is it? More on that below).
Dozens of cars go past the station, unaware of the extreme danger of the situation, some even stopping in front for long amount of time as the imminent catastrophe approaches -- all while the couple filming the leak discuss what might occur.
At the 1:15 mark in the video, the inevitable disaster occurs.

After 4 minutes, still no emergency response deep in the city... Amazing...
wow......boom!
When was this?
Looks like something out of Hollywood!
Kewl!
Yes...in Russian. The article has it translated, along with other information.
At the beginning of the video you see a guy (station attendant) in a red shirt go to the right and stop traffic.
The guy in the gray car idling in front of the station touched off the propane or natural gas and jumped out of it and ran away.
It does look like a propane leak. I wonder if the tank failed such that it never BLEVE’d after ignition.
The guy in the car probably ticked a CIG?
The link is pretty direct but thanks for the YouTube link.
“I said ‘Bud Light.’”
I wouldn’t be surprised.
Mahachkala is a capital of Dagestan - a home of Boston bombers.
There is a dark car behind the silver one. Point of ignition looks like it was immediately underneath, so hot exhaust pipe provides an ignition of the gas flowing low on the ground.
Now, why did those two idiots stop there?
Looked like a BP logo until I looked closer. They are good at blowing things up. Refineries, drilling rigs and such.
