'The people are the ONLY legitimate FOUNTAIN of power'; Congress is but 'creatures of the people'

One of my favorite fireworks are "fountain" based designs.

As you review these Fountain Firework Images (or see them tonight in your neighborhoods), think of Founding Father's James Madison use of the "fountain" image (1788):

"The people are the ONLY legitimate FOUNTAIN of power, and it is from THEM that the constitutional character, under which the several branches of government hold their power, is derived." (The Federalist Papers)

Our government has forgotten this basic notion of freedom.

With... ...the IRS targeting scandal and ensuing cover-up, ...ObamaCare attempted sovereignty of our lives, ...increased governmental encroachment, ...spend-happy 'pols' in D.C. and our statehouses, ...and the many other Obama Administration lies and scandals afoot in seeking to be unaccountable to the people... ...Spring cleaning in Congress and in our statehouses is long overdue: Time to "clean house" at the voting booth in the next elections.

It won't be enough to simply toss the tea in the harbor; dunk the Democrats and whichever RINO Republicans have twisted our country's foundation!

As George Washington asked as a basic question in early July, 1783:

"For heaven's sake, who are Congress? Are they not the creatures of the people, amenable to them for their conduct and dependent from day to day on their breath?" (George Washington, To William Gordon)

Remake Congress as George Washington's "creatures of the people" ... and whereever Congress has become Frankenstein's Monster, send that portion of Congress to the political graveyard from which its body parts were gleaned!
