In the Brady Bunch movie where Gregg and Marcia are sharing the same bedroom with only a light piece of cloth separating them, Marcia sees Gregg undressing and her voice immediately drops two octaves, Gregg jumps and stares at her, she then returns to her normal voice.

I will say that actress definitely knows what sexy is.

Something tells me that women who crow about this are aroused by both notions, that of women making their voices sexy and men being incapable of it. Insecure people need to feel validation no matter how obscure.

what’s in the wallet is more important to women than the guy’s voice.

Women have so many more options — they can coo, whisper, be playful, scintillating, be flirty, be suggestive, be breathy.

What can men do? Lamely try to lower their voices an octave and not sound nasal?

My favorite of all time was my girlfriend leaning over and nibbling my ear at a stoplight while whispering to me. I playfully asked “And just what are you doing?” Without missing a beat, she said “Making her jealous” and nodded her head at the girl stopped next to us.

Oh no they are wrong. Women are attracted to a sexy voice a man. But, like everything else, you either have it or you don’t. You can’t fake it.

I always assumed women thought Rod Serling’s voice was sexy.

Serling created the “Twilight Zone” in the 1960’s, and he had extensive experience in radio before that.

Any ladies here at Free Republic remember Rod Serling and have an opinion on his amazingly distinctive voice?

I once saw on one of those old tabloid shows a segment about people who earn a living talking dirty to men over the phone. One was a male Marine. He affected a phony female voice and his male customers didnt know the difference. The Marine was straight, he did it just for the money.

unless a man has a nasel-y or lispy voice, to me it comes down to what he is saying... that will determine whether or not i am turned on... and it has nothing to do with a million dollars...

Alan Rickman’s voice is the sexiest. He can read a McDonald’s menu and make it sound wonderful.

Korean actor Kim Myung-min's voice is the one that ladies swoon over.

A video of him receiving an acting award a few years ago. (In Korean of course, not subtitled) LOL'd at the cat calls.
