"Kid's lucky to be alive," FBI spokesman Tom Simon in Honolulu told The Associated Press.
A 16-year-old boy stowed away in the wheel well of a flight from California to Hawaii on Sunday, surviving the trip halfway across the Pacific Ocean unharmed despite frigid temperatures at 38,000 feet and a lack of oxygen, FBI and airline officials said.
Not only was he unharmed, but officials also said he wasn't even dirty.

A lot of people are, “lucky to be alive.” This kid is way beyond that.
“A Congressman who serves on the Homeland Security committee wondered how the teen could have snuck onto the airfield at San Jose unnoticed.”
San Jose is IN the San Francisco Bay Area!!
I guess if we want to avoid being groped by TSA we can just cut holes in the airport perimeter fence and jump in the wheel well.

Lucky? How is it even possible—if there’s little sealing of the wheel compartment from the outside? I wonder what the time-profile of temperature and pressure are in there.
I heard someone say it’s almost unimaginable her survived. But there is a video of him sneaking in. They say he was unconscious most of the flight.
That also described Biden on his trip to the Ukraine.
Just an ‘unticketed’ ‘immigrant’ trying to get somewhere for a better life. It would be an act of ‘love’ to let him stay or provide him with a First Class ticket home.

Anybody crazy enough to do that wasn’t REALLY conscious BEFORE the flight!!!
Now here is a lad who has shown an aptitude for politics!
His being unconscious may have reduced his body’s oxygen requirements to the point that he could survive the flight. Amazing nonetheless.
I was wondering if something like that was possible.
He survived because he didn’t eat the airline food.
