The school is really punishing those students by not letting them attens school. Hey morons that’s called a vacation to a high school student. if you want to punish them make them attend school...sheesh

Restraint based on what precisely? If they understood the significance of the Confederate flag they would wear it as a sign of their opposition to slavery. If they are mind raped by fascist thugs who teach domination by government they had no reason to be restrained.

It’s a private school. They can set their own rules and restrictions and enforce them as they see fit.

It's a private school not a public one. The First Amendment protects you from government censorship.
Poor victimized babies! Having to see a flag they don't like! Why, they would have been justified in beating, killing, rioting, whatever? How very big of them to let those boys with the flags live and/or not get beaten up! I certainly hope those "heroic" African-Americans get some kind of medal for their restraint!

Even if you don’t agree with Robert E. Lee that the South should have abolished slavery, then seceeded, there is an issue of freedom and self-government on the chopping block there.
Freedom and self-government misused in the service of a terrible thing, certainly. But Lincoln’s response to the South’s assertion of those rights was to destroy them. Government of, by, and for the people no longer exists. Freedom and self-government went out the window with slavery, and now we do not have the freedom to govern ourselves as we wish.
There will probably be those who wish to misinterpret the above as a defense of slavery. Don’t even start in on me. Slavery is an atrocity. That said, we are the only one of Britain’s former colonies that had a war to abolish slavery. We could have avoided the war and still abolished slavery, as they did.
They can be home schooled.
If it was a fag flag this wouldn’t even be a story.
Being expelled from public school is a first step towards getting a good education and learning. They can do better at home or at a private school.
