There exist, commonly, online high schools. As such, there is exactly ZERO excuse for a parent to keep their child in a school filled with liberal teachers/supervisors ect.
And in this case the private school costs certainly are greater than any online school.
I took my daughter out of a public school and put her into a charter that while still far from great, was much better. Today, she is finishing a second degree in business while in the USAF.
Parents that care enough will find a way to avoid indoctrination.

Heroic restraint, based on the fact that the blacks were provoked, and did not in turn lynch the whites? That statement is racist.
The blacks exercised normal restraint and waited for due process. Does the author believe black people incapable of self-control?

“Brother” Cregan should suspend himself for denying the 1st amendment to the constitution. Two kids brought a confederate flag to sporting event, big f’n deal! This principal claims black students showed “heroic restraint”, just goes to show who runs St. Anthony’s. You can bet the principal wouldn’t complain if a black panther or islamist flag appeared on campus.

That’s right, Norm. Funny how many parents will sacrifice to the nth degree just to make it to the Super Bowl 1000 miles away or come up with that down payment for a new boat they almost never use.
Where I am from it means they did not start something and get their asses kicked.

The Washington approach appeals to good feelings between the races. This Long Island school approach is to echo the hate rant of late 20th Century agitators, who exploit every opportunity to divide & alienate.

The charter I sent my daughter to definitely was not the greatest school to ever exist but compared to what she came out of, it was a ‘bastion of greatness’. FAR less issues on multiple levels.
I heard all manner of excuses from friends/family why it was a horrible idea/thing to do. I heard every lib talking point and ‘moderate’ excuse why “You can’t do that” because “She will never get hired”.
Well the Air Force was fine with her diploma. She ‘got hired’ and went on to exceed most if not all her former class mates. I would bet on ALL but I cannot say that for sure as I don’t ‘know’. And between her AF training and college degrees once her gig is up (soon) she will be easy to hire.
I guess she/I/we ‘could’ after all. All it took was the determination to do it. Imagine that. And she is one of many throughout the country that followed a path like that. It wasn’t some miracle. She wasn’t some savant. She just had a parent that gave a damn.
The implication being what? That if they weren't "heroic" they would have engaged in an acceptable, natural desire to attack the other students? While what the school did to the kids bringing the flag is outrageous, the idea that African Americans are Pavlov dogs who blow up in rage over anything that reminds them of slavery is extremely insulting.
