What happened to your neighbor mtn climber?
None of my neighbors had flood trouble. We live on the north ridge of Mt Thorodin so the water runs off each side. It was lower in the canyons where the streams picked up so much water from tributaries and general run off that got washed out. The ground here got very waterlogged and we had a period of very high wind that blew down 7 or 8 large pine trees in my yard. There were 4 trees that fell over my dog’s fence in the back yard, 1 into the power pole in the front yard. Across the street a big pine tree fell over the power lines and ripped them all off from the pole in my front yard. Power company said there were over 600 reports of trees falling across power lines in our area. Very difficult dealing with severe winter conditions with no power!
We have a high clay content in the soil here, and in one week last September we got 8-10" of rain (the mtns west of us were pushing 20" of rain that same week, hence our natural disaster), but, I am pretty sure the soil has retained quite a bit of that rain. Grass is bright green, stayed that way all winter, really.
They think they are so camoflauged and invisible:
hearing Kyle is losing an engine.
normally that fits under a bridge about 15 feet long. Whole "valley" there was under water for a couple of days.
I should go take an after pic of this, these are empty retention ponds by I-25 that didn't have water in them, probably 20 feet deep:
Gordon is terrible at restarts.
They look vewy vewy familiar.
So, looking out again, the two in those pics are the “boys,” a girl has now joined the game... and, well, it is spring.
Deja vu...all over again.
on fanstasy bids...only and always do with BJ in Vegas...way tighter folk
I pulled a 164 in my left leg a couple weeks ago. Trying not to use up everybody before spring season is over. My goal is to be a top 10 going into summer.
Got a container garden started out back, just to have a fall back. :^)
Hope the weather is nice.
The “New” Kyle is still on the lead lap.
My window doesn’t work. Bitches
Nail....meet hammer!
In eighteen concise words, no more, no less.
You got it.....and evidently so did any chicken-shiite potential protestors, hah.
Leni
Vickers around, Ambrose involved? stays green.
Kahne earns a stripe.
I am on track for a sub 220 this week. Not that that is unusual for me...
Kind of like the Chick Fil A mess - they didn’t know the target audience.
And that reminds me about revisionist history, there was an article about Cathy tempering his traditional views because of the effectiveness of the protests in 2012... hmmm, I seem to have a different memory of those “protests.” Like the protesters forgot to show up when they saw the supporters show up.
