And there will be many more.
I have not seen Divergent or Noah .I want to see Divergent eventually. I never wanted to see Noah at all, but feel I must be missing out as everyone is flocking to see it so I might have to break down and see it. It looked boring to me but the constant marketing from Free Republic and other conservatives are making it too enticing to pass up so we will see.
I did see these two incredible films Non-Stop and God’s no Dead ..Great films that Free Republic should be talking about more and leave the successful Noah alone.
A Film Races Against the Odds ("50 to 1")
This from another review at the link:
It is hard to resist such an emotional victory, won not by the high and mighty sippers of mint juleps, but the scrappy cowpunchers from the land of chili peppers. There are a few scenes in the movie that got it a PG-13 rating. Otherwise, Mine That Bird, the movie, could very well be the best family film out there. The owner's prayer that the horse just not finish last was more than answered, to put it mildly. In my opinion, 50:1 also qualifies as a modern Western, the beleaguered genre going through tough times. Recommended.
I read the novel Divergent last weekend, and saw the movie too. I liked both.
I skipped Noah this weekend, and took my family to God’s Not Dead. Full house. Loved it.
Noah, the anti-religion movie
Schwarzenegger - AKA tootin’ shootin’ Hollywood hero. But in real life, a pissy gun grabber. BUZZ OFF YA DOPE! Go back to Austria and speak Austrian, or sumptin’.
***Noah,***
I read the book. It is more concise.
Is Divergent another stupid female empowerment movie like Hunger Games?
What are you talking about? I’ve not read one positive thing on FR about the “successful Noah” (your words).
I did see these two incredible films Non-Stop and Gods no Dead ..Great films that Free Republic should be talking about more and leave the successful Noah alone.
Non-Stop was talked about here. It was spoiled too. Many chose not to see it cause military veterans were made into the bad guys.
Yes.
Ive not read one positive thing on FR about the successful Noah (your words).
Oh the “successful Noah” are not my words either but the receipts from the movie. I know it has not had any positive news on FR, but it has had a ton of news which is what marketing is all about. There is no such thing as negative exposure. That is one reason why the movie has had people going to the movie in droves. The awareness level hit volcanic levels which every movie studio would love.
I though it was the teacher who looked bad. I don’t remember military veterans having a bad time and I saw the movie and am a retired military member so that would have caught my attention.
I think so, but again have not seen it.
I think some people receive a stipend for posting ... :-) ...
I went to see God’s Not Dead yesterday, it was thoroughly enjoyable
btt
Yes it reminded me of Hunger Games. I actually liked Divergent better though.
