Has anyone here seen the new movie Son of God? How is it.
We watched the entire thing when it was televised. Awesome on TV but not sure if they were able to cram everything in to the theater version. I know the removed the evil character that looked just a little too much like the “lyin’ king”. i.e. the president.
Did NOT see the movie, But the BOOK is FANTASTIC!, I suggest you read it some time, Cover to Cover!
I read the book.
Had a friend who saw it and said he liked it even though he saw the one on TV.
It’s the same one that was on TV??
What is it? A sequel?
I saw the whole Bible series, including the Son of God part about our Savior upon which this movie is based. it is a full movie put together from those several segments of the Series..
It was great!
Were there some inconsistencies? Yes...but the spirit of the movie and its message was outstanding and kept faith large and away with the scriptural account.
They have added some cut scenes from the Series, so there is more. We intend to see it.
I just read the link about Do you know the Voice of the Master. It was disturbing to learn the “Touched By an Angel” producer coauthored a New Age Book and channeled her mother on a psychic TV show.
I am against it on idolatry grounds.

Yes. That is very alarming considering the churches that thought she was someone quite different.
I heard the “producer” interveiwed on...the radio last night.
I did not care for the “tone” ....of any of the interview, is just didnt ring true...but I couldnt put my finger on it until he was asked who Jesus was to him.....and he answered....the son of God.
Any Christian I know would have replied My Lord and My Savior...

It struck me as odd how the producer,,,whatever his name is kept deferring to this roma woman throughout the interview I heard last night
It sounded strikingly like a New Age Devotee praising their GURU!

I always thought that Touched By an Angel was New Age. God’s angels only follow His commands. Christians have watched too many TV shows, too many movies. They no longer discern the truth.
My pastors said, “When you laugh at evil, you’ve already lost the battle.”
TV has become an evil in peoples lives.
