I agree...which demonstrates that the contestants know what sounds good FAR more than the show producers do! (but that isnt much of a stretch)
I really liked Pinky’s voice but she is still so stiff. She needs to relax and step up her physical performance.
Jlo is gonna say she didn’t really “feel” that pink hair girl was really “into” the song. Like she should have fired a couple of rounds through the roof or something...
I expected a Hells Kitchen type of thing. Pick a song that will sabotage the competition, type of thing.
I thought Jessica did pretty good. But after hearing the judges, what do I know.
I agree with you.... She’s not ever been in the bottom 3 and keith is saying “if you wanna stay in this competition?”
She is one of those that can be guaranteed a recording contract from Nashville no matter what...so she doesnt have to sweat it much.

Her song is Sam's pick: Miranda Lambert's "Gunpowder & Lead". Again, EXCELLENT. Perfect fit for her.
Also again, we have to wait for a commercial break before we get to the judges' comments.
Jlo: I've been such a fan of yours. This is the first time I've heard you off. You seemed a little bit uncomfortable. Didn't seem natural.
Harry: I agree. It wasn't your best performance. A lack of rhythmic delivery. When the rhythm is in your body ... it will match the pyrotechnics. You were walking out of time with the music. We call it play like you live in New Orleans.
Keith: A dissipation of energy on a song about revenge. Miranda kills it because it sounds like she's really pissed off. But you were dissipated. If you want to stay in this competition, get serious.
The commercial delay is unfair.
I bet if they took the judges' comments right after her performance, with the crowd cheering, they would have been more positive.
And now Demi Luvato walks out on stage to kill time with Seacrest. Now she goes over to sit next to Randy Jackson and the Idols. This feels like an audition for the ex-X-Factor judge.

It’s Harry Connick’s wedding anniversary today! I wonder if his Victoria secret wife will be in the audience and get a bouquet and a spotlight. I like Jess the best. She’s ready to go, like Kelly Clarkson was.

Alex nothing going on. If it’s not in the eyes, like that Pia chick, he’s just not got what it takes. Pia’s doing better now cuz she worked on her likeability and smiling.
