I believe the real goal is ratings (money). It's more entertaining to show nutjobs that boring common sense preppers. And some action footage like throwing Molotov cocktails at a concrete water tank to see if it burns (duh!) always helps.
He has the first rule of survival down. Carry your first month’s food supply in a way that nobody can steal it.

But....if you are well armed that mob will be significantly less large by the time it gets your provisions.
You can' stop everything, but you can certainly make them seriously pay for what they get. Every feral mob member that you take out means fewer decent humans to suffer later on.

1) This guy is evidently overweight. I think he’s more of a threat at the buffet than in a post-apocalyptic world.
2) His response sounds like the ranting of an emotionally unstable 14 year old.

4) He really thinks preppers will be individual families huddled in basements with shotguns, defending cans of beans.
In reality, many preppers are in ‘prepper communities’, people with often similar ideals and in many cases religious convictions. These people are set to build new villages and communities in a dystopic future. They’re not doing all this work to live like hobo hoarders for decades.
I can honestly say this is yet another example of a free-loading, attention-seeking, armchair masturbator. The saddest thing is, this tool supposedly has followers he’s ‘training’, likely through playing COD in the basement.
He thinks he’s Humungus from Mad Max. In reality, his mom probably paid for the equipment to make him look like a poor man’s Robocop.
That’s why you network and have a group of preppers instead of just you and your family.

Sadly, I think there are going to be a lot more of these types. Think of gangs. There have been reports of gang members joining the military to learn small unit tactics. Say what you want about gangs but they do have a hierarchy. They have motivation and have shown a willingness to kill over the smallest of things. They will make this punk look like a Sunday school teacher.
If they incorporate appropriate tactics they will be hard to deal with.
For “law-abiding” citizens who are hunkered down in their homes or wherever, thinking zommbies aren’t coming after them, I think they’re in for a rude awakening.
For those who’ve never been in a position to take a life the decision is a gut-wrenching one. It’s why the military has to reprogram your basic instincts to not take a life.
Gangs have already done this.
Be warned. They will not play nice.
I just watched this episode. The Spartans would have left this dude to the wolves at birth.
OTOH, the other prepper in the episode, who was setting up an aquaculture pond in Costa Rica was pretty much a model prepper.

There is a Chris Pedrini with an address listed just a few miles from Buckley where the uncle lives based on a quick internet search. Some people have bigger mouths than brains.

My quick evaluation of this guy is that he’s a mental midget. I was surprised that Nat G. bothered to film him and his family of morons.
My guess was that he was going to get a reaction that he wasn’t smart enough to anticipate and that he will either end up hurt or in jail…or both.
I am glad he’s not my neighbor….. I won’t be forced to deal with him.
Most nut case criminals fantasize their deeds long before they commit any serious crimes. This clown seems to be in his fantasy phase.

I know dorks like this. They are short sighted and very immature. One keeps talking about zombies coming in his window in his suburban house and how he’s going to blast them with his 20 gauge shotgun, as though if zombies were at the window all wouldn’t already be lost.
I don’t think THIS guy *makes* it to the SHTF.
Regarding the magazine, I dropped my subscription that I had held for about a quarter century about 12-15 years ago. Couldn’t handle the Leftist proselytizing.
The mobs are going to mob. The LEOs are going to LEO. They will wipe each other out leaving preppers to deal with small crowds and sympathetic cops.
