I would like to thank all who have welcomed me within the past almost 3 wks; esp ., "the old lady". I also vividly recall also "null and void" & lazmataz.
It's been nice having a posting priviledge here as a guest but I don't think FR is for me.
I'm a Constitutional Conservative and as many conservative opinions are voiced here I'm not seeing what I'm personally looking for in commentary.
It's sort of like dating isn't it? After a few dates, a few comments,a few opinions, one begins to draw conclusions. Free Republic just isn't for me.
I prefer a much more constitutionally conservative site to voice my opinion.
I wish you all well and thank you for welcoming me during this time to Free Republic.

The entire scenario reeked of scam from the beginning - is anyone with sound intentions really going to take the trouble to establish an account to post a thread telling the world that they're NOT participating? One risks ocular damage from eye-rolling. Moreover, your rhetorical fencing skills could use a little time on the whetstone. "Hello, I must be going"? Really?
That said, this sort of thread provides a wonderful opportunity for a little venting, a blank scroll for intellectual doodling, a tabula rasa for one's most cherished internal dialogue. For example, I sort of get colon cramps when I eat really hot Mexican food, and I don't think it's food poisoning because it happens right away, and you know bacterial food poisoning tends to have an incubation period of 24 hours for Staph and 48 for Strep, Salmonella, and Shigella, and most viruses, before your guts start to knot and you tend to get real familiar with the texture of the bathroom wall opposite the crapper. No, this isn't like that. And I have to wonder if it isn't just overstimulation of peristalsis that does it, but I can tell you that it can feel like a red-hot poker shoved up yer bum before you're done so the capsaicin is still active by the time it reaches the end of the line - did you know that isn't actually heat, it's just nerve endings? What do you think?
