The notion that Hitler escaped from his Berlin bunker has held conspiracy theorists in thrall since the war ended. It has now reared its improbable head once more.
This weekend, it emerged that the story of Hitlers supposed escape to Argentina has become the subject of a bitter plagiarism row.
In their book, Grey Wolf: The Escape Of Adolf Hitler, British authors Gerrard Williams and Simon Dunstan argued that the Führer escaped
and did indeed see out his days in South America.
However, an Argentine journalist, Abel Basti, who comes from the Patagonian town of Bariloche, where so many Nazis retired, claims that Williams and Dunstan appropriated his research, and he is seeking compensation.

The Hitler is aliveconspiracy theories were started by Stalin-even after his NKVD discovered Hitler and Evas charred remains in the Reich chancellery garden. Why? Not really sure. Perhaps part of his fiendish nature. Maybe watching the Allies squirm and uneasy. Most likely because Stalin wanted everyone to know that dictators are immortal.

Hitler went into hiding. He disguised himself as a building. Very poorly, I might add.

“Argentina? Simply not possible. He escaped via U-boat to a secret island base in the arctic. He was then launched on a nuclear powered V-2 rocket to the NAZIs space base on the far side of the moon.
Hitler is now 124 years old and ready to invade earth with an army of 12ft tall blonde arians, cloned specifically to be super soldiers.”
Someone watched Iron Sky.

I feel the same way, every day. I can’t believe how imbecilic apparently educated people are, and how, when questioned, they know nothing, nothing about him - not even his mother’s name.

Doubt it, but I have crossed paths with the sons and daughters of the SS in the most unlikely place. A small island off the west African coast, where they all washed ashore along with an assortment of old comrades and adversaries, after being kicked out of apartheid South Africa. I spent a most disturbing evening among them over dinner. The after dinner kirschwasser was flowing freely, and the old marching songs began...it was surreal. Still wake up some nights in a cold sweat remembering that little dinner party.

Good one.
Perhaps he’s staying there with his friends Ron (Ribbentrop) and Reg (Himmler) at that boarding house in Somerset as they plot the reunification of Taunton and Minehead. (Thanks Monty Python & Wiki-P).
Anyone overhear “Not much fun in Stalingrad..no”?
