My Obamacare Surprise (Juan W. reporting for duty!)
Fox ^ | 10/10/13 | Juan Williams

**SNIP**

Unlike Americans who tell pollsters they don’t like the new law and find it confusing, the business professionals dealing with the day-to-day reality of the new health insurance landscape accept the Affordable Care Act as straight forward approach to begin cutting the rising cost of health care for people and companies.

At the conference, sponsored by the Sun Life Financial Inc., these health care and corporate professionals pointed to reductions in the expense health care puts on small businesses with less than 50 workers. And they think people who work for small companies – as well as part time workers-- will get a better deal from public marketplaces for insurance than from most existing employer plans for part-timers.

That opening paragraph reads like boilerplate.

If the young healthy un subsidized folks don’t sign up (for the bad coverage) the insurance companies will bail rather quickly, some like United Healthcare in CA chose not to play at all.

Subsidized people get plans with smaller or no deductible, smaller co-pays and smaller cost sharing, with the same premium paid to the carrier.

What Juan Williams is saying is of no relevance. The issue isn’t how many people are helped by Obamacare. It’s how many are hurt.

Pity the poor fool who drops their current coverage just so they can get a small government handout and then Obamacare goes away.

Like all socialist programs Obamacare depends on the greatest number of people it hurts as the measure of its success.

especially those that have been offering insurance coverages to their staff.

Reading this you might ask why would a small business drop coverage that they were offering their employees all along and everyone was happy with? Are these greedy employers just taking advantage of this law to increase profits?

The reality is that the government has imposed its own mandate on what constitutes allowable converge and to cover the same employees would be more expensive.

1. I see that Joo-wan didn't attempt to sign up online for the "Affordable Health Care Crash". He probably has "people" for that.

2. I also see that Joo-wan is just scraping by on barely $600,000 a year, much like the rest of us peasants.

That opening paragraph reads like boilerplate.

Jay "Mr. Claire Shipman (D-ABC)" Carney probably FAXed it over to Juan before he wrote the piece.

Let me put it so that others can understand it.

Juan Williams is an Obama loving sh*t shoveler.

It’s as simple as that.

That’s why he is the perfect stand in for Beckel on The Five, they both have their heads so far up obamaramadingdongs butt that they can’t see the light of day.

For instance, my employer pays 50% of my premium, and I stand the balance, along with coverage for my dependents. Come January, they are dumping coverages for everyone (we are under the 50 headcount limit). They are NOT increasing my salary to toss in that contribution they were formerly providing. So, even absent the change to coverages, deductibles and OOP, my direct health insurance costs will increase by about 20%. I cannot bring myself to test the waters of the new normal in health insurance, so I cannot say what the real cost will be.

This is EXACTLY what will happen. As with minimum wage increases, the only ones who are immune are the ones who are valuable enough to get a yearly PERCENTAGE raise. The rest of the peasants get eaten by the Inflation Bear.

Most peasants are told by their employers that their health care is "part of their compensation package", and this is drummed into their heads annually.

With Obamacare, this "compensation" will disappear into the breeze, along with like promises of "as long as the grass shall grow and the wind shall blow".

The benefit to the small employers will be eaten by the increased cost of commodities necessary to their small businesses (the Inflation Bear).

Right now, small businesses are absorbing the inflation costs.
