I have no idea what to make of this list as it makes not a whole lot of sense. Nonetheless, I post it here for you all to make even less sense of.

35. Athens, OH Apparently one of the grading criteria is drinking in huge quantities. About the only things of note in Athens are Ohio University and the bars that serve it.

Most of those towns are college towns. I figure that they all have a population that has a lot of time on their hands to play games and work puzzles.

My town is not listed. I think I will ease into this intellectual thing. I think I will move to #88 Trenton, NJ.
Opps, that's the reason why my town is not listed.

Whoever wrote this does not know the difference between a city and a metropolitan area. But we are supposed to overlook that and embrace the overall conclusion.

I see the City of Evil is in first place.

For all the colleges in California, it seems to be underrepresented as are some other fair weather states. I would suspect that making the list would have something to do with feeling somewhat housebound due to weather? Note that Houghton, MI is #20 on the list.

So the Aggies come in at 11, and UT doesn’t rate at all.

The great irony here is that these "brain-training games" have been empirically studied and found to be worthless. "Data Scientist" Daniel Steinberg is apparently unethically incompetent in his own self-defined field.
Ask yourself: why is it that Boston, home of Harvard, MIT, BU, BC, and Northeastern, is not listed in the top 100 cities?
To: FlJoePa
New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington DC did not even make the list! ROFLMAO
