And if you are not already watching Game of Thrones I strongly urge you to.

First class scripts and actors.

Beware, in most TV you know who the good guys are and you have to look for the villains. In GOT you know who the bad guys are and have to figure out who the good guys are.

Stunning locations too. No expense spared.

Game of Thrones does not live up the books, IMO.

First of all, in the books the protagonists are mostly in their mid-teens. Parts of the storyline do not flow smoothly to characters in their mid-20’s, like the reactions to arranged marriages.

I forget their names, but the two sisters - the pretty one is less tragic as a woman than a 13/14 year old girl.

The dwarf, though, does an outstanding job and it is easy to go back and read the books, and have an image of him as that character.

I like GOT but find it depressing.....overly gory....the Sharon Tate moment was way too gen Y desensitization for me

And the queer crap...much of which is agit prop and not in book
