Coburn voted with the rest of the RINOS!
Check out the OUTRAGE on his Facebook page! WOW!
I guess once he announced he was not seeking reelection no need to cater to the voters.
He announced this back when he started his first Senate run. He couldn’t win if he tried to run again though.
He promised to only serve two Senate terms. He apparently is serving one too many. He finally succumbed to Beltway Flu.
Maybe OK voters should subject him to a recall vote for failing to uphold the constitution. yeah, I know, I dream...
He did promise 2 terms.
The people will hold him to that promise.
This actually is not THAT far fetched in Oklahoma. People are PISSSSED.
I’m not on FB. I sent him an email. I told him he’s worthless.
I want these scum to answer why they went along with this and allow our freedoms to be taken for absolutely no benefit.
Question: if the background check “systems” are down for an extended period then what happens? No gun sales right? What if the government make some phoney claim about draconian sequester “cuts” and just turn off the system?
Coburn’s true nature came out of the closet.
Jeff Flake is getting the same treatment.
How many of the treasonous bastard RINO’s are up for re-election in 2016? Coburn is. Wondering if the entire RINO caucus was in on this as chose 2016 candidates to be the sacrificial lambs in hopes people will forget by then.
Hope he had fun making deals on the party barge.
Coburn won’t be running again for Senate. He promised only 2 terms.
And the good people of Oklahoma will never vote him back into an elected office again. Trust me.
Toomey got demolished on his FB page yesterday. That seems to work better than “calling”.
Time for the Republican Party to die.
Problem is that Coburn already pocketed his 30 pieces of silver and he doesn’t give a rip about the commoners anymore. The voter’s anger means nothing to him. Maybe it’s even amusing.
Like the rest of the traitors he simply makes sure he and whomever he cares about are well taken care of for life. Then proceeds to sell us down the river.
Oh I think it’s getting there..
He needs to be recalled.
This is how they screw us every time!
I met him back in 2004 during his first Senate campaign. I think he was genuine then. He even said.. if you stay too long in Washington bad things happen.
I am glad he’ll be on his way out. He’s no longer effective.
Our GA douche Saxby Chambliss voted for this as well.
I knew Saxby was a traitor. Almost expected it from him. But Coburn voting for it really pisses me off!
Coburn will get his invite to the DC Cocktail Circuit
We Texans need OK and LA to turn it around - I gave up on NM -
we can’t be the only bastion of freedom down here, all alone.
Make it rain on election day, I don’t care how, we need you several shades of redder than you are.
Hope they all enjoy their 30 pieces of silver
Maybe Coburn can go run for Senate or Congressman in another state.
Oklahoma won’t be sending him back to DC in any way, shape or form.
I’m so frustrated with Coburn!
Just called his office in DC as I am not on FaceBook. Voiced my displeasure. Lady who answered phone was cocky in her answers.
Coburn really screwed us. Makes me never want to vote again...you can’t trust any of them.
I will call on my lunch break.
Saxby is getting beat up as well. Not that he cares as he is not running again:
Great and I see Johnny Isakson of GA voted for it as well.
RINOS!! All of them!!!!!!!!!
Good grief. You would think he voted to confiscate everything from kitchen knives to every imaginable automatic weapon. He only voted to prevent a filibuster because it is high time we had this debate on the floor of the Senate so the real totalitarian gun grabbers will have come out of the closet. Coburn is as solid a supporter of 2nd amendment rights as you will find and suggestions to the contrary are simply a means for low-information voters to self-select.
As we have all learned lately, just giving the Democrats and Republicans a chance to take away our rights and freedoms actually results in losing them.
I think the point here is that the 2nd amendment left no room for debate.
“Nothing shall infringe”
What’s left to debate? Frankly, I’m against banning automatic weapons too. The framers surely couldn’t foresee that the USG would have better technology than the average guy.
Well, as I reread, “Nothing shall infringe”, I think that maybe they did, and that banning automatic weapons was the first tread upon the slippery slope.
Now 2A is gaining speed as it goes off the cliff.
Perhaps that’s the point of everyone’s anger at these ‘statesmen’.
